HAVE YOUR SAY ON SPRING HILL PARK UPGRADES
I’d like your thoughts about two issues raised by your neighbours at my recent Spring Hill Mobile Offices.
With cost-of-living pressures front of mind for us all, I want to ensure our parks remain attractive active recreation spaces with free and low-cost events for you in the inner city.
As you will know, Bedford Park is a large well-used local park located in the centre of Spring Hill.
A couple of years ago we placed all the outdoor gym equipment, and remodelled the children’s play area.
Some residents have suggested there should be public toilet facilities placed in its grounds.
Public toilets are often contentious in local communities – that’s why I’m asking you if you’d support public toilets at Bedford Park.
Safety and amenity is important to me – any toilet facility would have to be designed with safety in mind.
