Brisbane’s New Year’s Eve city fireworks display go off over South Bank and will be at 8.30pm and midnight (each show is 10 minutes).
The best viewing spot is from South Bank from the Clem Jones Promenade.
There will be food trucks and family-friendly flicks in the Cultural Forecourt, and City Sounds artists (including super fun powerhouses Pocket Love) at Rainforest Green.
Eagle Street Pier will have a fireworks display firing from the Brisbane River at midnight and lasting eight minutes.
Portside Wharf will also be putting on a fireworks display over the river outside the precinct.
Please note, no fireworks will go off on the Story Bridge or from the top of CBD buildings.
