Safer Schools Program
I wanted you to be aware that Brisbane Central State School has been included in the Brisbane City Council Safer Schools Program for Term 2, 2025.
While we understand the challenges faced in navigating school zone drop-off and pick-up, it is crucial to prioritise safety. We all want to encourage drivers to do the right thing as they drop off or pick up children.
The program aims to promote safe parking practices and ensure compliance with local traffic regulations – it is targeted towards areas where there has been an increase in complaints or non-compliance reported from parents and local residents.
These patrols are in addition to the regular high rotation of Council parking compliance vehicles that circulate around our inner-city schools in Spring Hill and Fortitude Valley.
